Background

Phumlani is an adjunct lecturer with the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business (GSB). He is also an extraordinary lecturer & PhD Candidate with the School of Public Leadership (SPL) at Stellenbosch University. He is recognized as a One Young World Ambassador and one of the “Top 200 Young South Africans” by Mail & Guardian. Phumlani practices applied research and entrepreneurship development with the African Union (AU), Africa Tech Research, Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) and The Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropy.

At the School of System Change

Phumlani contributes to and facilitates systems worldview and praxis rooted in his development experience across seven African countries. He enjoys the laboratory approach the School follows, where practitioners co-learn together with facilitators and academics. This approach allows for varied practical immersions and applications, making learning a lot more fun.
